TikToker Marc Sebastian shared the one-word people on cruises should never say, having experienced a negative reaction from doing so.

TikToker Marc Sebastian took to the platform to reveal the various things he learned while traveling on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

Shocked to find out what’s forbidden while aboard a ship, Sebastian said that people were in utter silence after he said one specific word.

After receiving such a clear response from other cruise-goers, Sebastian and his viewers now know what not to say if they find themselves at sea.

Man says guests dropped utensils when he said forbidden word

Sebastian began his viral TikTok explaining that when he said “Titanic” while on his cruise vacation, those around him instantly became silent.

He went on to say that the people were so taken aback, they dropped their utensils along with their jaws.

The subject came up when Sebastian asked other cruise-goers if they knew that the cruise ship they were on was only 100 feet longer than the Titanic.

Talking about the Titanic while at sea was considered so wrong that someone had to whisper in Sebastian’s ear to never mention that word while cruising.

The conspiracy about the Titanic originated from the ship having been swallowed by the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912.

Now considered a fopaux, mentioning anything about the travesty is not permitted anywhere near a cruise ship.

Viewers of Sebastian’s viral TikTok commented with similar experiences, “When I went on a cruise my mom told me saying Titanic was equivalent to screaming a bomb at an airport.”

And, “Our cruise had a photo backdrop of the iconic stairs with the clock scene from Titanic so I guess they didn’t read the handbook either.”

Though Sebastian didn’t make the best impression on some cruise guests, he is still on his nine-month Royal Caribbean Cruise, taking to TikTok as much as possible to report about his time.
