Rumors have it that Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright broke up. However, only Brittany has revealed the truth.

Jax Taylor brought Brittany Cartwright onto Vanderpump Rules during Season 4 in 2015. Though Jax attempted to take their relationship slowly, they ultimately married in 2019 and have had one child together.

Much like Jax’s relationship with Stassi Schroeder, his and Brittany’s relationship didn’t come easy. They fought often and Brittany even caught him cheating with VPR co-star Faith Stowers.

Their love has endured tough times, and now maybe even tougher, as the media seems to think Jax and Brittany have broken up. 

Both Jax and Brittany have since responded to the rumors.

After rumors began just days ago about Jax going on a “bender” with Tom Schwartz, some speculated that Jax and Brittany were living in separate houses.

Jax has since responded to the breakup rumors after a fan questioned him online, “Is him and Brittany not together anymore?”

Answering in the only way Jax knew how, he took the sarcastic route, as he thought it was clear that he and Brittany were still together, especially after what they had already been through.

After Jax responded to the fan’s first comment by saying, “Why would you say that, I can’t take a trip without my wife for work?”

The fan went on, “There’s rumors going around you had another Vegas fiasco which honestly would be great for ratings but horrible for the family to go thru.”

Shocked, Jax added one last response, “Wow… after everything that happened… seriously?”

Though Jax made it clear that he and Brittany are still together, VPR fans know anything could be going on when it comes to truth with Jax.

Brittany gives cryptic response to breakup rumors

While she didn’t say that they were heading to separation or a potential divorce, she did state in a podcast episode that marriage isn’t easy.

“…marriage is hard and people go through ups and downs all the time and it’s completely normal,” Cartwright shared. “Sometimes people might need their space [and] sometimes they won’t,” she commented.

Brittany confirms breakup with Jax

In days following the rumors of their split, Brittany confirmed her separation from Jax because she wanted to be “real and honest” with her fans.

On her podcast, which she shares with Jax, Brittany revealed that the two are living in separate homes, “Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

Brittany went on to say that although she doesn’t know what the future holds, that she’s focused on being the “best” mom she can be to the pair’s son.
