Below Deck’s Daisy Kelliher forms unexpected friendship with A-list celebrity

Netflix star Christina Applegate and Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht make for a surprising friendship.

There are not many ’80s kids who don’t recognize Christina Applegate. Gaining fame for her role as the iconic character Kelly Bundy in Married…with Children, she has gone on to star in everything from Friends to the popular Netflix series Dead To Me.

The actress is also a known activist who has publicly opened up about her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, which came years after she announced being in remission from breast cancer.

With several decades in the entertainment industry, she has dozens of famous friends to help her through her health journey. And one of them, apparently, is one of the fan-favorite crew members on Bravo’s hit reality TV series Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Christina Applegate has a Below Deck friend

On February 19, Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher spoke with Daily Mail and revealed that not only are she and Christina friends, but she wasn’t the one who initiated their relationship. 

“She’s a huge Bravo fan, and she reached out to me via Instagram, and was massively supportive. She said, ‘Hey Daisy,’ and we FaceTime and stuff – she’s just so nice,” Daisy told the outlet.

The reality TV star did admit that the two haven’t met face to face yet, but she’s hoping they can in the future.

She said, “She lives in Los Angeles and I’m in Los Angeles all the time, but she’s busy with her family and I know she is taking it easy, and keeping all of her energy for her MS, but hopefully we’ll make time.” Christina hasn’t publicly commented on their friendship as of yet.

Maybe the sitcom icon will become a charter guest in Season 5 of Sailing Yacht so that fans can witness their in-person reunion on camera. You never know!
