Bachelor fans praise Joey’s empathy for Season 28 contestant’s hearing loss

Daisy Kent opened up about her hearing loss on The Bachelor, and fans praised Joey for supporting her.

Daisy Kent is a frontrunner on The Bachelor Season 28, and she went on the first one-on-one date with lead Joey Graziadei.

The Bachelor contestant was whisked away on a helicopter and taken to a concert, where she slow danced with Joey in front of the crowd.

After the concert, Joey took Daisy to a private dinner, and she shared the story of how she lost her hearing at 17 years old and now wears a cochlear implant.

Joey was very supportive of Daisy as she revealed her medical history, and was concerned about her health since she was treated for Lyme Disease.

Bachelor fans love how genuine Joey is

On Instagram, Bachelor fans were touched by this moment on the show and praised Joey for being so accepting.

“Is this man straight out of a romance novel? Why was this the sweetest convo ever,” one fan wrote.

Another fan appreciates how genuine Joey is as the Bachelor and replied, “I love how instead of responding with ‘thanks for sharing,’ he actually asks more questions and seems genuinely interested.”

As a lead on The Bachelor, it’s difficult for Joey to give each woman enough time to truly get to know them.

Daisy being chosen for a one-on-one date gave Joey the opportunity to learn about The Bachelor contestant’s hearing loss and make sure she feels comfortable during the rest of her time on the show.
