Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trainers were impressed after one fan found a fiery Easter egg surrounding Crispin and the Savanna Plaza in the Indigo Disk DLC.

A major part of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC is taking on the four members of the Blueberry Academy’s Elite Four.

Each of the Elite Four battles takes place at the Plaza arenas found in the four different biomes. Many fans likely remember taking on the fiery Crispin at the Savanna Plaza during their adventure.

Now, one eagle-eye trainer shared a nifty Easter egg with the community surrounding the Savanna Plaza biome and how it fittingly relates to the lowest-ranking Elite Four member’s love of cooking.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fan finds Indigo Disk Easter egg

The trainer shared the discovery through the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit, in a post titled, “Savanna Plaza Easter egg.”

The OP explained, “I don’t know if anyone else realized that the Savanna Plaza is shaped like a frying pan, it’s not important or anything it’s just funny.”

The trainer attached a couple of screenshots to better illustrate the Easter Egg, and sure enough, the large, blocky structure is shaped like Crispin’s favorite cooking implement.

Many fans in the comments expressed never even noticing the small touch after having defeated each member of the Elite Four.

“Look it wasn’t till I was almost 200hrs into the Indigo Disk when I noticed Kieran and Carmine’s hair were Violet and Scarlet underneath. I definently did not notice this but it’s awesome,” said one trainer.

Another fan noted that players can actually find a large group of Fire Tera Shards underneath, referencing the fire used to heat up the frying pan to cook food.

Sadly, it doesn’t seem like the other Elite Four Plazas are subtle references to their trainer’s interests. It’s unclear why or how Crispin’s Plaza matches his hobby, but it certainly a neat little touch that the dev team decided to stick in.
