Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players find “spooky” Easter egg in League Club Room

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players have finally found a ghost girl, which has been added in The Indigo Disk DLC as part of a certain build in the League Club Room.

The Pokemon series is a font of nightmare fuel for its intended audience, be it intentional or not. The Gen 1 fans got hit with this bad, from the horrors of MissingNo to the disturbing Sabrina appearance in the Pokemon anime.

The later Pokemon games have been big on including ghost girls, in the style of Japanese horror movies, though not quite as disturbing. Pokemon X & Y had the hotel spirit, ORAS had the mysterious girl in the Elite Four room, and Pokemon Sword & Shield had the ghost of Hammerlocke.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are unintentionally scary games, but they lacked the prominent ghost girl appearance of the previous entries. That is, until now, as The Indigo Disk DLC has finally come through the fans of Pokemon horror.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have a secret ghost girl in the Club Room

A Twitter/X user named TAHK0 has uploaded their discovery of a ghost girl in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s new DLC. It can be hard to find, but if you know where to look, you can track down this mysterious spirit for yourself.

You must unlock the League Club Room in Blueberry Academy to find the ghost girl. Then, pay 400 BP to Filbert of the Art Club and ask him to give it the Dark style. In the Dark League Club Room, approach the painting of the lady, go into first-person mode, and it will blink.

“Mfw the art student traps the souls of the damned in his paints to give the room a “spooky vibes,” one user commented, while another said, “I caught this the other day by accident, creepy as hell.”

It’s a shame that this Easter egg didn’t appear in the base version of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, but at least the ghost girl streak hasn’t been broken. It’s now become a recurring feature of the mainline Pokemon series, which is more than can be said for glitch-free launches.
