One of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s most divisive features remains a source of comedy for many players, and a new “glizzy” sandwich is showing off the perils of sandwich making while also making fans laugh.

There are plenty of problems with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The games are still a huge source of fun, and we’re not putting them down any time soon, but there are still quite a few issues that could do with ironing out if Pokemon ever wants to patch the games in the future.

Sadly, for anyone aiming to nab some Shiny Pokemon, one of the most annoying features is making sandwiches. What should surely be a simple task is instead a moment of mayhem, as players must frantically hope to land ingredients on the bread, without the table or the minigame glitching.

With so many ingredients, and so many possible bonuses from sandwiches, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players are still finding new sandwiches to make. Now, one particularly grotesque sandwich is reminding players of the feature, and just how funny it can be.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet “glizzy” sandwich is a hit with fans

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet player u/Runnernerd2020 recently shared this Reddit post, alongside an image of a… sad-looking sandwich, overloaded with hot dogs, as well as the comment, “I am so sorry…”

Naturally, Pokemon fans are having a lot of fun in the comments, with many sharing a joke at the sandwich’s expense while also poking fun at the ridiculous Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mechanic.

Commenting on the interesting hot dog sandwich, one person adds, “Your sandwiches are the wurst” before another comment says, “Is that a herbed sausage in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?”

A lot of the discussion is on how difficult it is to make sandwiches. One of the top comments underneath the post says, “These recipes really call for the most asinine things like MA’AM how am I supposed to stack 3 potato salads on 4 smoked filets??”

Another person adds their thoughts, adding, “Man some of the shiny sandwiches. They always call for a hamburger, green pepper, onion, tomatoes, and then 2 of an ingredient. Have fun getting two servings of tofu in there, too.”

It’s not just the ingredients that are the problem, however, as one person says, “For me, it has to be the dropping of the top of the bun from what appears to be the Empire State Building. Just let me place it down slowly. There’s absolutely no need to try and create an impact crater in my sandwich.”

Thankfully for anyone hoping to just get the bonuses from sandwiches, it seems looks aren’t important, as one comment says, “Pro tip, the top bun doesn’t count for anything; drop it way off the bottom and have an open-faced monstrosity instead.”

While we can’t promise to make sandwiches any easier to produce if you want to bag yourself a Shiny, be sure to check out our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Shiny Sandwich guide to help you on your way.
