Pokemon GO players are letting is loose on the “low levels” of the game who are bringing weak Pokemon to the Raids.

In Pokemon GO, players can band together to tackle some giant, tough opponents in the game’s many Raids, with each Raid coming with varying difficulty.

For the higher difficulty Raids, most people are expected to bring their most powerful creatures to help make quick work of the fight everyone is facing.

That is not always the case, however, and many veteran players are railing against this on social media.

Pokemon GO veterans hate this approach to Raids

The situation was addressed in a post on the Pokemon GO subreddit, in a post titled: “Who brings Stantler to a 5* raid?”

The post has a screenshot with it that shows a Stantler standing among the players’ Pokemon doing battle with a big boss.

Stantler is a rather mundane option that is not the top choice for most veteran players to take on a Raid of this difficulty.

The community, in response, is pointing to the lower level players, dubbed “low levels”, not knowing any better.

“Low levels, I mean alot of time they kind of just there tagging along for the ride.”

Some have even come to the defense of the player, with one user saying: “Tag-alongs and remote raiders are always welcome when my friend group are raiding – we don’t mind how low level they are or what Pokemon they bring.”

Others point to the poster themselves as wrong for making a wrong choice in their own Pokemon: “Bro you brought a gyrados, you don’t have any ice types?”

One user has a much more succinct rebuttal to the post, with a simple: “Shut up, nerd.”

It is unknown if the Raid was successful, but it is clear that some Pokemon GO players take issue with others’ choices in battles.
