Post Malone’s follower count on Instagram has skyrocketed following his Super Bowl LVIII performance of “America the Beautiful” to open up the game.

Super Bowl LVIII has concluded, and it saw the Kansas City Chiefs and millions of Taylor Swift fans around the world bring home the Lombardi Trophy — beating the San Francisco 49ers in the process.

Taylor Swift wasn’t the only big name in music to arrive at the game either as Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Alicia Keys, Reba McEntire, and Post Malone all performed during the massive event.

Post Malone helped get the game started with his rendition of America the Beautiful, which led to his Instagram follower count skyrocketing.

Post Malone’s Instagram page began seeing a huge influx of new followers during Super Bowl Sunday, largely due to the fact the popular singer opening up the iconic event.

According to SocialBlade, Post Malone recieved over 7,000 new followers on February 11 alone — but it didnt stop there. As time went on after his performance, even more came to his Instagram account to follow.

On February 12, 2024, the musician saw a massive growth of over 31,000 followers on his social media page.

Both days combined means that Post Malone saw an influx of over 38,000 followers on Instagram, all thanks to his Super Bown LVIII performance.

If you missed the appearance, the NFL has posted it on Instagram as well for everyone to enjoy.

Many took to social media to share their reactions to Post Malone’s appearance as well, with many saying that they want him to headline the iconic Super Bowl halftime show.

While others, however, have revived the post-CMA requests for a Post Malone country album.
