In a shocking move, Kanye West had titanium grills installed over his teeth, leaving his fans confused.

You never know what Kanye West will do next. From interrupting Taylor Swift’s VMAs acceptance speech to plotting to build a “Droam” city in the Middle East, he certainly keeps everyone on their toes.

In his latest controversial move, the rapper has had titanium grills installed over his teeth worth $850,000, according to a DailyMail report. “The marriage of his vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic!” said Dr. Thomas Connelly, who fitted the dentures. Complex later confirmed Ye did not have his teeth removed.

It’s not the first time Ye has done something controversial with his teeth. Back in 2010, he spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about his “diamond teeth.” With the latest display, Ye compared himself to James Bond villain Jaws, throwing fans into an absolute frenzy. They quickly took to Twitter/X to express their confusion.

Kanye West fans perplexed after shocking teeth change

In response to the new look, fans flocked to Twitter/X and made their feelings known. Many users called the rapper “chompers” and “Vampire Kanye.” “He’s a vampire now?” echoed another fan.

Others expressed their sheer confusion. “I can’t believe this is a real headline,” wrote one fan.

“Why does it look like he just wrapped gum wrapper around his teeth like we used to do when we’re kids,” joked another.

“Thought this was one of those parody accounts for a second,” said a third.

“I think it’s time to admit Kanye has officially lost the plot,” posted Starboy_Victor_.

“That’s wild, who needs natural teeth anyway?” asked a separate user.

The latest stunt comes amid frequent delays of Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s joint album Vultures, which has been mired in controversy. Not only did the Backstreet Boys not give clearance to their song “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” Nicki Minaj refused to clear “New Body,” a song that’s been in the works for literal years.

For now, Vultures lands everywhere on February 9.
