Helldivers 2 has been insanely popular among its PlayStation and PC fanbase – but can Xbox players get a taste of liberty too?

Since its release, Helldivers 2 has been a huge success with thousands of players diving into each planet in the battle for democracy while completing Major Orders, or just enjoying its cooperative features. However, when it was first released, the game wasn’t available on Xbox consoles, leaving many disappointed and calling for change.

So, is Helldivers 2 on Xbox yet, or will you have to wait a little longer?

Is Helldivers 2 on Xbox consoles?

Despite many players calling for its implementation, Helldivers 2 isn’t currently available on Xbox consoles, meaning you’ll need to play on PC or PS5 to wipe out the game’s enemies.

However, while the first game was a PlayStation exclusive, recent speculation has revealed that Sony is in “very early” talks with Microsoft about bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox. This was hinted at during the XboxEra Podcast so nothing has been fully confirmed yet, but it’s the first time that any sort of talks have been rumored.
