The latest Rocksteady game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is already on sale at Green Man Gaming with an 18% discount.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has just been released and the game is already seeing a nearly 20% discount on Green Man Gaming.

The game has received a mixed reception from fans and outlets alike. This mostly boils down to how much you like modern live service games or superhero shenanigans. While the Batman Arkham trilogy might have been traditional games, Suicide Squad follows more in line with Destiny 2 than Arkham Knight.

This includes co-op, loot, and levels to earn. On top of this, there are presumed plans to carry the game over the coming years with new content for you to do.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League sees Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang land smack-bang in the middle of an invasion. Brainiac has taken the Justice League hostage through mind control and now these four misfits are left.

While the game is set inside the Arkham universe, it feels less connected to the original series than you might expect. This includes bringing in now-known characters like Amanda Waller and Rick Flag.

The game had a somewhat tumultuous development from the outside looking in, with a few delays and wild rumors spinning. It was originally meant to launch sometime in 2023 but was pushed until just last week.

In its opening hours, the servers had to be pulled down due to the game auto-completing itself, but it doesn’t look like Rocksteady has run into any major issues since.
