In an unexpected announcement, Disney released a full teaser video hinting at their upcoming collaboration with Epic Games to create an everlasting virtual universe for fans. Once the video was out, fans like 440continuer took to Reddit to see what other Fortnite players thought of the move.

While several players discussed new game modes and possible UEFN experiences, the Fortnite player base had their own amusing expectations from the gameplay. One such player said, “Does this mean I will see Mickey Mouse cranking 90s on me?”

Another chimed in, “With each day we get closer to Ready Player One.” A third user added, “If they bring out a Disney princess Battle Pass I’m gonna have to make my 3-year-old an account just in case she wants to play it later in life.”

A fourth user commented, “The house from UP needs to be a glider.” While there were several ideas thrown around about the gameplay, players also discussed how they would love to see cosmetic outfits for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Frozen, Toy Story, Avatar, Mickey Mouse’s Clubhouse, and many more on other social media platforms.

The release date for the said collab is still unclear, but players are hopeful that the “Soon(ish)” in the teaser meant somewhere close to the end of 2024 or early 2025.
