One Fortnite player claimed a Victory Royale as Banana Zeus in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 in a seriously awesome clip.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has shaken the foundations of the Island as Gods from the Greek Pantheon have joined the fray, lending players their awesome powers.

Epic Games also added four new POIs, a ton of cool weapons, and a Battle Pass full of exciting cosmetic items.

Players have been loving the new season so far, using the fantastic new mythic items the Thunderbolt of Zeus and the Wings of Icarus to produce some crazy plays.

The Fortnite community is hailing one play as the craziest of Season 2 so far, as one player channels the power of Peely to claim a Victory Royale.

The player shared their awesome clip on social media, showing them jumping off their skybase and unleashing the power of the Greek Gods on the last opponent in the game – throwing thunderbolts at them before diving on them with the Wing of Icarus for the win.

“Fear the power of the banana of the heavens mortals!!!” the player captioned the clip.

Fortnite fans, old and new, couldn’t believe what they were seeing in the spectacular clip as Peely got the Victory Royale.

“Well I’m sold this season looks awesome,” said one player, praising Epic Games for all the cool stuff they’ve added this season. “This season is so heroic,” agreed another player.

Other commenters put themselves in the position of the Peely’s opponent, and could only wonder what it felt like to get dived on by a thunderbolt-wielding Peely.

“Dude spends hours working his build game for this moment only to get schmucked by a flying banana,” joked one fan.

Still, clips like this are why this new season has been getting tons of praise from players who are finding the new mythics seriously awesome.
