A teacher who was fired from her job as an education assistant after refusing to stop making OnlyFans content says she was wrongfully terminated and is suing the school district.

Former British Columbia education assistant Kristin MacDonald, better known by her OnlyFans monicker Ava James, made headlines earlier this year after fighting to keep her job while making OF content.

After refusing to delete her OnlyFans account and a disciplinary hearing where it was revealed the school district even subscribed to her videos, James was eventually sacked, but she isn’t done fighting.

In a new interview, the self-proclaimed “Dommy Mommy” revealed new details about her case, including how she lawyered for a human rights complaint after being terminated.

According to James, she refused to stop making OnlyFans content because she was on unpaid medical leave when she was told to take down her account.

“My long-term disability was denied,” she told City News. “Without the income of OnlyFans, I had nothing.”

The OnlyFans star further claimed to have a couple of legal proceedings against the Coquitlam School District for what she believes was a wrongful termination.

Ava James was fired over her OnlyFans content.

“Going through the motions of grieving the decision with the union, as well as, putting in a Human Rights [Tribunal] complaint for discrimination. Just like anything, it’s a process. It takes time,” she said, adding she was “cautiously optimistic” that she will win.

Teachers being fired for their OnlyFans content is becoming quite common. Last year, a science teacher was sacked after being caught filming videos on students’ desks, and another even took photos in a preschool washroom.

For this case, however, James wants her story to result in more people being “open-minded” and accepting of different lifestyles.

“I think, especially in the school district, we’ve made strides to be open-minded, but there are elements where we [have] not, clearly,” she stated.
