Cosplayer’s awesome Harley Quinn re-creation is almost Oscar-worthy

Margaret is a 20-year-old cosplayer based in Moscow, Russia. As a result of her impressive and versatile cosplaying abilities, she has garnered over 133,000 followers on Instagram, as well as running successful YouTube and Twitch accounts.
Going by the handle ‘ilost.unicorn’ on Instagram, the Russian regularly impresses her followers with accurate impersonations of their favorite fictional characters.

On February 9, she set her sights on Harley Quinn, the popular DC anti-hero whose movie ‘Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn’ is in theatres now.
The anti-hero first appeared in Suicide Squad and has since appeared in other extended DCEU films. As a result of this, she recently appeared in Fortnite Chapter 2 as a downloadable skin.
Known for her trademark blonde pigtails and eccentric makeup, it’s clear that the 20-year-old has done her research, and has nailed the aesthetics of the iconic character.

Similarly, the trademark heart tattoo under the eye is perfectly placed, rounding off an all-round awesome cosplay.
Finally, while it’s hard to display a maniacal personality through pictures alone, the gun finger poses do their best to highlight this trait, capturing Harley Quinn’s eccentricity and affinity for death.
Cosplaying is a very difficult art to perfect, but it some of the more dedicated cosplayers have incredible talent for it, rivaling even professional make-up artists and costume designers.
