The Last of Us Part 2 is shaping up to be one of 2020's most-anticipated game releases and this cosplay is definitely helping with the hype.

This PS4-exclusive title has already been delayed until May 29, 2020, but that has only made players even more excited for the release thanks to the extra polish it will be receiving as a result.

The sequel to the 2013 classic has a lot riding on it as the original is largely considered to be one of the best games of all-time. In the seven years since its release, gaming technology has come a very long way, so we're excited to see what Naughty Dog are able to cook up.

Since there isn't a whole lot to share about the game right now, the official Twitter page for Naughty Dog is sending out cosplays for the world to see. The one they posted on February 4 shows the many sides of Ellie and possibly gives us a little glimpse of what to expect from her in the sequel.

In the cosplay by 'dvbhebrickmvster,' we see what Ellie looks like at a casual event, with a hunting rifle, and finally, we get a shot of her trying to survive in the zombie apocalypse that makes up the world of The Last of Us.

The 22-year-old Italian cosplayer shares her take on several other characters, but taking a look at her Instagram, it seems clear she specializes in Ellie cosplays.

Many fans were quick to point out that she resembles Dina more, but since Ellie quickly became a fan-favorite character, it's not surprising that cosplayers gravitate towards her.

The Last of Us II developer is encouraging players to submit their cosplay entries through their Tumblr page. From there, they'll have a chance to be featured on the dev's official Twitter for all of the fans to see.

There's probably going to be more and more fantastic cosplays in the leadup to the game's release in May, so we'll be sure to keep an eye on what gets shared next.
