Peirce ‘Gunless’ Hillman has joined the LG roster as of October 10, completing a five-man squad that also currently features Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry, Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan, Johnathan ‘John’ Perez, and Mathew ‘FormaL’ Piper.

The news was revealed in a post on LG’s official Twitter page: “Welcome an absolute unit, Gunless, to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 team.”

After an up-and-down Infinite Warfare season, Gunless started the WWII season with Echo Fox, before making his move to Rise Nation.

The switch turned out to be an incredibly profitable one as Rise went on to win three major events after he joined, while also placing second at the CWL Pro League Stage 2.

However, after a disappointing 13-16th place finish at Champs, the Rise roster was decimated, with TJHaLy moving to OpTic, Loony to Splyce, and SlasheR to 100 Thieves.

Gunless, the fourth and final Rise player to leave the org, now joins an LG team that had a strong WWII season.

The team had four top-three finishes at major events, including a victory at CWL Birmingham. They also performed brightly at Champs, placing 5-6th.

While Gunless’ move now brings LG’s roster to five players, the number necessary for the upcoming season’s new 5v5 format, this may not be the last roster move the team is involved in.

There is heavy speculation that veteran player JKap is on his way out, and will be replaced by former LG standout Nicholas ‘Classic’ DiCostanzo.

Update – 10/11

JKap has left LG to join eUnited, which means fans can expect LG to make another roster announcement soon to reveal his replacement.
