Call of Duty: WWII Introduces a New Division That Features a Riot Shield and Other Abilities
YouTuber TheseKnivesOnly has done it again and released information and gameplay on the new ‘Cavalry’ Division coming to Call of Duty: WWII with the launch of the third DLC pack.
The new division marks a fourth addition to the game expected to be included in the update that accompanies the June 26th DLC expansion.
Divisions are one of the significant changes to this latest edition of the CoD franchise that offer players four unique abilities essentially replacing the perks system of previous titles.
‘Cavalry’ will offer players a unique play style that didn’t previously exist in WWII, but may be familiar to long-time fans of the franchise.
The four abilities Cavalry provides when at its max level could be a game changer.
“I: Carry a Shield that offer protection against attacks
II: While sprinting, Shield Charge to ram enemies
III: Improved objective capabilities
IV: Objectives give extra score & two assists equal a kill”
The shield will take the primary slot gun slot, but users will still be able to select a primary weapon as their secondary with no attachments.
Like in previous games the shield is a two hit kill weapon.
There is also an exclusive SMG that comes with the ‘Cavalry’ Division; we’ll have more on this as it develops.
The new addition may not see its way into competitive play; however, it will undoubtedly spice up public matches.
