Released on October 1, Call of Duty Mobile has become an instant hit within the community, generating over 20 million downloads and $2 million in revenue after just two days, according to Sensor Tower estimates.

Many have reacted very positively to how polished and complete the game was at launch, including additional modes such as a battle royale and ranked playlist, something that not even regular titles usually feature at release.

The multiplayer is, of course, the biggest of the bunch, and it has a plethora of different weapons that players can use, so many that making the right choice may not always be easy.

That said, here are the best guns to use from each category of weapons in CoD Mobile.

Best Assault Rifles in CoD Mobile

Activision / TencentThe AK-47 packs a big punch in CoD Mobile.

M4 (unlocked at level two)

  • Damage 45
  • Fire Rate 60
  • Accuracy 70
  • Range 45
  • Mobility 60

The M4 has a very balanced stat profile, combining a strong rate of fire and accuracy. This weapon is certainly more prolific at closer ranges, but equipped with the right attachments, it can be a very powerful gun.

AK47 (unlocked at level 23)

  • Damage 70
  • Fire Rate 55
  • Accuracy 45
  • Range 65
  • Mobility 60

The only real issue with this weapon is its accuracy, which is low because of the high recoil and kickback when shooting. However, the damage, fire rate, range, and mobility are all more than decent, making it a strong choice, especially when paired with good attachments.

M16 (unlocked at lever 46)

  • Damage 65
  • Fire Rate 45
  • Accuracy 60
  • Range 60
  • Mobility 60

An iconic weapon in the Call of Duty franchise, the M16 is once again a very viable choice in CoD Mobile., With four stats above 60, particularly damage, accuracy, and range, this classic burst weapon is great for those who like to post up on power positions.

Best Submachine Guns in CoD Mobile

Activision / TencentYou may have to wait a while to unlock it, but the Chicom SMG is very viable to use in CoD Mobile.

AK-74U (unlocked at level 7)

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 60
  • Accuracy 55
  • Range 35
  • Mobility 75

This weapon is essentially an assault rifle in SMG form, as its damage and accuracy are both very good for all types of players. The 75 mobility allows it to be used in run-and-gun style, with more than enough damage to punish enemies.

Chicom (unlocked at level 72)

  • Damage 75
  • Fire Rate 65
  • Accuracy 60
  • Range 40
  • Mobility 80

There really isn’t much that can be said about this gun other than that it’s stats are impeccable. The only issue with this gun is its relatively low range, but if you are the type to get in opponents’ faces, then you might be unstoppable with this weapon in your hands.

Best Sniper Rifles in CoD Mobile

Activision / TencentThe M21 EBR’s fire rate makes it a reliable sniper rifle in CoD Mobile.

DL Q33 (unlocked at level one)

  • Damage 90
  • Fire Rate 15
  • Accuracy 60
  • Range 45
  • Mobility 95

Sometimes the default choice is the best one, and that certainly applies with the DL Q33. What makes this weapon standout is its high damage and good accuracy, coupled with the fact that it supports four attachments that can make this a true powerhouse sniper.

M21 EBR

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 35
  • Accuracy 60
  • Range 95
  • Mobility 45

The fact that the M21 EBR has a low damage profile shouldn’t be a major concern, because that is compensated for with the high fire rate, especially when Tactical Scope is equipped. This allows you to take extra shots where other snipers may only be able to fire off a single round.

Best Light Machine Guns (LMG) in CoD Mobile

The UL736 is really the only good choice if you want to use LMGs in CoD Mobile.

UL736 (unlocked at level 108)

  • Damage 70
  • Fire Rate 60
  • Accuracy 45
  • Range 55
  • Mobility 40

On paper, this LMG has the same stats as the S36, but what sets it apart are the stat boosts it gets when equipped with the proper attachments. The UL736 is by far the most potent and balanced weapon in the LMG class.

Best Shotguns in CoD Mobile

Activision / TencentWhen it comes to shotguns, no choice is better than the Striker.

BY15 (unlocked at level 15)

  • Damage 85
  • Fire Rate 20
  • Accuracy 80
  • Range 30
  • Mobility 75

This shotgun has a very balanced profile of high damage and decent fire rate, making it extremely potent in close quarters combat. If the first shot you snap off doesn’t kill the enemy, you are afforded enough time to fire off a second one.

Striker (unlocked at level 51)

  • Damage 70
  • Fire Rate 35
  • Accuracy 85
  • Range 30
  • Mobility 75

The Striker is probably the best shotgun available, as it has decent damage, very good fire rate, exceptional accuracy, and its range can surprisingly be good when aiming down sights.

Best Pistols in CoD Mobile

Both the J358 and MW11 are dependable secondaries in CoD Mobile.

Both the MW11 and J358 are good enough to use in you everyday loadout, and the choice you make has to depend on whether you have good aim or not.

MW11

  • Damage 65
  • Fire Rate 40
  • Accuracy 55
  • Range 20
  • Mobility 90

If you don’t trust yourself to be able to consistently hit shots, this handgun is for you, as its higher fire rate allows you to fire more rounds at the expense of damage and overall accuracy.

J358

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 15
  • Accuracy 70
  • Range 35
  • Mobility 90

This pistol is for those who can confidently rely on their aim, as its low fire rate means you have to be able to hit enemies before they can eliminate you. The reward with this weapon is the higher damage, better range, and more accuracy.
