A Target shopper is accusing the chain of deliberately sending them a Bible after ordering a trio of queer books.

No one likes receiving a different item when you make an order online, but one Target shopper says the company intentionally sabotaged their delivery.

According to TikToker ‘fooddaddy11,’ two of the books in their order were “queer books,” but they had no idea what was coming in the mail.

“What I received in the mail was very disheartening and should never happen to anybody,” they said, showing off the package from Target. “When I opened my package, I got the Bible, which should never happen to anybody.”

Fooddaddy11 explained that they used to work for Target and understood the system, alleging that an employee went out of their way to bring out the books they wanted, put them to the side, and replace their order with the Bible instead.

“It’s going to mess up their actual numbers for the warehouse, too, because when one book goes, it has to go in the actual order it’s designated for,” they said. “I’m wondering who else has possibly had this issue recently… this was purposely done.”

In a follow-up video, the TikToker revealed they had contacted Target directly in search of answers, but didn’t get the results they were hoping for.

A customer service manager apologized for the situation but felt that the Bible delivery was just a mistake.

“The manager that I spoke with sounded like she wanted to sweep it under the rug and either issue me a refund or reship the books. I told her I don’t want it to happen again and I would go elsewhere for the books,” they revealed.

The TikToker further stated that they received a call from corporate about a potential investigation. So far, however, there’s no update on whether or not the chain is following up.

Fooddaddy11 says they’ll be keeping everyone informed on the situation, but says the whole issue has been very “overwhelming.”

This isn’t the only viral issue Target has been facing recently. Earlier this month, the store was slammed by a conservative mother for selling ‘inappropriate’ kids’ spring dresses.
