WWE 2K24 is finally out and you may be wondering if the game is on the Steam Deck. So here is everything we know.

2K is back with yet another annual release of the WWE 2K series and it brings with it the usual returning and new modes, with a massive roster list, albeit with some stumbles with some wrestlers being left out

For the old-school WWE fans, you may remember playing WWE SmackDown vs Raw on the PSP back in the late 2000s to early 2010s. And with WWE 2K24 coming out soon, perhaps you may want to relive the memories of playing WWE anywhere.

So before its release, here is all you need to know about WWE 2K24 and its compatibility on the Steam Deck.

Can you play WWE 2K24 on Steam Deck?

WWE 2K24 will be theoretically playable on the Steam Deck, however, is officially unverified, according to Steam

Even though WWE 2K24 remains unsupported by Valve for the Steam Deck, you may be able to run it as the game is launching on Steam, and a Steam Deck is essentially a PC made into a handheld console.

Although we cannot verify how well WWE 2K24 will run on a Steam Deck at launch, players quickly found ways of running WWE 2K23 upon release on the Deck using Proton, albeit with some performance issues. And it’s likely to be the same for the next installment.

The devs have yet to announce if Steam Deck compatibility will be coming for WWE 2K24 in the future, however, there may be workarounds by players in the future, but most likely not optimized for the handheld.

So that’s all you need to know about WWE 2K24’s compatibility with the Steam Deck. If the game ever gets a full verification by Valve, or if players manage to create a workaround, we will update you here.
