Is Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K24?

Brock Lesnar is quietly being erased from the WWE annals thanks to a major controversy. So, is Brock Lesnar still in WWE 2K24?

It’s a rough time for the WWE right now with former Executive and CEO Vince McMahon facing allegations of misconduct and sex trafficking. Despite current Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s best attempts to dance around it, the shadow of that controversy is hanging over the company.

Tied up in those allegations is former UFC and ten-time WWE Champion Brock Lesnar who despite not being named, is heavily implied to be involved. As a result, the WWE has been silently removing Lesnar’s merch from stores as well as keeping his name and face off TV and their website.

So, with WWE 2K24 finally out for players to enjoy, fans have been wondering whether he will make an appearance. Information has surfaced that clarifies the question: is Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K24?

Will Brock Lesnar be in WWE 2K24?

No, Brock Lesnar will not be in WWE 2K24 in any official capacity. At least at the time of the game’s launch that is. The full roster has been revealed and Brock Lesnar is not listed.

It’s a little more complex than all that though. Insider Gaming reported that “multiple sources” have confirmed that “despite being unplayable, his character and game files are still within WWE 2K24”.

According to their coverage, “While it was too late to fully remove Lesnar from the game, the plan shifted to simply make him unplayable for players upon release”. If Lesnar’s character is still present within the game files, he may be made playable at a later date.

It also means that modders will have a fairly easy time making Lesnar playable in WWE 2K24. However, that will require some know-how and won’t translate to the console versions of the game.
