A Warzone player is absolutely baffled after being kicked back to the lobby for inactivity mid-game, despite being active.

The Warzone community are no strangers to some bizarre bugs, glitches, and weird exploits. In the past, we’ve seen bugs find players stuck in the gulag with no way out, or find themselves encountering invincible enemies on the train.

Now, some are running into a bug that has them being kicked from the game for inactivity right in the middle of a match.

Warzone bug falsely kicks players for inactivity

In a Reddit post on January 13, one Warzone player was baffled as to how they’d been kicked from the game for “inactivity,” despite being active. “Kicked for inactivity? Where? I wasn’t even inactive while being res’d,” they wrote.

The player also showed a video, showing them being revived after being downed before suddenly being booted back to the lobby as they were running around.

It appears others are running into a similar problem too. In the replies to the post, several players explained their own experiences, claiming the issue even goes back to the original Warzone.

“Did you break your legs returning from the gulag or redeploy?” One reply asked. “I’ve seen it happen many times to my friends in that exact situation, it’s so stupid that it hasn’t been addressed yet.”

“Happened to me yesterday. Was in a gunfight, got downed, teammate got the revive off, I ran 3 steps, put a plate in, and got kicked for inactivity,” another player explained.

“Yeah unfortunately it’s been an issue forever,” a third player claimed. “Back in WZ1 I’d be in the middle of a gunfight and it’d kick me for inactivity. Haven’t seen it yet on this game but makes sense it’d return just like a lot of other bugs and what not.”

Hopefully, we’ll see the bug fixed in the next patch among the other glitches we’ve seen crop up recently.
