Valorant fans conflicted as Agent 25 gets a self-revive
ValorantValorant has revealed that Agent 25 possesses a revive ability, leaving players uncertain about how to interpret it.
As Episode 8 Act 2 approaches more information has come out regarding the newest agent to hit the servers. Unlike the other agents, Agent 25 will not release at the start of the act, which begins on March 5.
Instead, Agent 25 will allegedly be released sometime in March with a bigger reveal potentially coming with the conclusion of the Masters Madrid. Neon, another Agent that was released in 2022, had a similar launch by being teased at a Masters event before hitting the servers.
Little is known about Agent 25 outside of the fact that they are a Controller. However, a new voice line from Phoenix has been discovered which could hint at what the new agent’s ultimate ability could be.
Phoenix teases Valorant Agent 25 ability
Valorant leakers have discovered a Phoenix voice line that is directly referencing the new Agent. In the voice line, Phoenix can be heard talking about coming back alive with them.
“Aye fam, imagine when me and the new kid go on the same mission, other team gonna be stressin’, with both of us coming back to life,” says the Phoenix line.
Commenters beneath the post were surprised that Riot Games would be giving another agent a revive ability, especially considering that Sage, Phoenix, and KAYO all have one.
“That’s his ult with 10 points right,” commented one user. “Right?”
Those who weren’t fixated on the notion of another agent returning to life seized the chance to propose their own ideas. One user shared their thoughts on what this newfound ability could entail.
“Based on the previous teaser “when dropping smokes takes on a new life” I’m going to guess that the agent can revive themselves but be confined to the boundaries of the smoke,” suggested one commenter. “That way it’s balanced so that enemy teams know to be weary and their impact is limited to pre-planning.”
Little information is known about Agent 25 at the moment. Outside of them being a Controller, having something to do with butterflies, and being young, nothing else has been revealed.
