Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo has become one of Valorant’s most famous faces. The poster child for Cloud 9s new Valorant roster, TenZ has his eyes set on dominating Future Earth. However, how did he get here?
Before TenZ was even sixteen years old he was already a force to be reckoned with in the CS:GO universe. With highlight reels aplenty and an appearance in the FaceIt Pro League, the young Canadian quickly attracted the attention of the upper echelons of the CS:GO community, signing with Cloud9 alongside Mixwell and Daps. This, however, didn’t quite go as planned.
With several members of the roster blaming TenZ for his poor attitude and, in turn, the weak performance that C9 showed, TenZ was removed from the starting roster. Pursuing a streaming career under the C9 banner, fans continued to support the new player, hyping up his wild plays and engaging with his stream antics.
It was during this time that TenZ discovered his passion for Valorant, Riot Games’ new FPS. Seen making explosive plays that left fans and the enemy team speechless (and dead), TenZ was quickly inducted into C9s new Valorant roster.
Forming the core of the new team, TenZ’s attitude no longer seems to be an issue. Perhaps Valorant was the game that he was always meant to play — it just hadn’t been created yet.
With First Strike on the horizon, it’ll be exciting to see TenZ pop off on the global stage.
