The first official trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine dropped at the 2024 Super Bowl. The footage, which lasted just shy of two and a half minutes, revealed just how closely connected the anti-hero will now be to the greater MCU.
The trailer was so successful it managed to break the record for the most-watched trailer over a 24-hour period. And while it did provide fans with their best look yet at the upcoming movie, it did leave the door open for theories, Easter egg hunts, and more.

At face value, Loki appears to be a bizarre character to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine. However, the god of mischief has one clear connection to the upcoming film.
The trailer revealed that the way in which Deadpool will be brought into the MCU is through the TVA, an organization that at this point in the Universe has only appeared in the Loki TV show.

Tom Hiddleston responds to Deadpool & Wolverine rumors
MCU actor Tom Hiddleston has opened up about whether or not he will appear in Deadpool & Wolverine.
During a recent Q&A, the actor was asked about his involvement in the upcoming film. While he was quite tight-lipped, he did offer up the following statement.
“I don’t know, and if I did… I might not be allowed to tell you. I truly don’t know, Marvel are correctly protective of their information.”
