Invincible Season 2 finale will be “crazy” after title leaks
Prime VideoWith Invincible Season 2 Part 2 continuing the comic book storyline, its leaked episode titles have fans anticipating a jaw-dropping finale for Mark Grayson.
The second half of Season 2 will bring an even more epic storyline for Mark as he now faces a bigger challenge: after unsuccessfully fighting off the Viltrumites, he’s tasked with continuing his father’s mission.
Part 2 also has fans excited as it could kick off the Invincible War and feature more of Mark’s new foe Angstrom Levy. With the new episodes set to release on March 14, 2024, fans have been given a big tease of what’s to come.
The episode titles have been leaked online, and fans have honed in on Episode 8 – which implies a major event from the comic books will take place.
Invincible Season 2 finale could follow the comics
The final episode of Invincible Season 2, titled ‘I Thought You Were Stronger’, suggests we’ll see a brutal and bloody fight that could change Mark moving forward.
Per @CS11__ on X/Twitter, the episodes for Part 2 all seem to be dialogue lines from the original comic books. But the real jaw-dropper was the title for Episode 8. Die-hard fans of the original storyline knew from the get-go where the line is from and what it means for Mark.
Throughout the series, Mark has always made it his mission to remain moral. Especially after learning his father isn’t the hero he expected. He has always kept his super strength at a minimum despite knowing very well his Viltrumite blood makes him just as deadly as them if he tried.
The episode title implies that Mark will do exactly what happens in the comics. But no spoilers here.
On X/Twitter, fans were left stunned. “The thing that everyone thinks is happening in episode 8 is almost definitely gonna happen at the end of episode 7 and have 8 deal with the fallout,” said one fan.
Another commented, “‘I THOUGHT YOU WERE STRONGER’ if you read the comics Yk can’t wait to see that animated.”
The title also has fans speculating that Spider-Man will make his appearance, as hinted by Josh Keaton after months of rumors.
“‘I thought you were stronger’ the Spider-Man crossover is all but confirmed at this point now,” said one fan.
Angstrom Levy was introduced in the first half as Mark’s new enemy who can open portals to other dimensions. Between the title of Episode 8 and the inclusion of Angstrom, fans can likely expect an epic Invincible Season 2 finale that sets up a greater story. As well as the possible introduction of Anissa, a Viltrumite sent to check on Mark.
