A TikToker has gone viral after flying to New York City for a concert at Madison Square Garden, only to sleep through the entire thing.

TikTok has become the perfect social media platform to share both bizarre and embarrassing moments for the whole world to see.

One user went viral after getting the police called on them for merely sitting in their own front yard and another gained views after discovering a way to get unlimited popcorn at movie theatres.

Now, one TikToker has gained internet fame after sharing how they flew across the country and spent hundreds of dollars on a concert they missed.

TikToker sleeps through concert she flew cross country for

TikTok user Izzy, @izzyislovely, went massively viral on July 1 for her video from a hotel room in New York City.

In the video, Izzy said: “That moment when you 2,500 miles for a concert and fall asleep and miss the whole thing.”

The concert, for boy-band Big Time Rush, was held at the iconic Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Izzy, crying, panned the camera to her nightstand clock which read 12:02 AM.

In a follow-up video, Izzy explained that she spent $250 on tickets for the concert, and took a red-eye flight to travel across the country for the show. She said she “did not realize how exhausted” she was and fell asleep around 4 pm.

The next thing she knew she woke up around midnight and said she “cried for hours.”

The next day she flew home because she said the only reason she traveled all the way to NYC was to see Big Time Rush, and after missing that, there was nothing else for her to do.

Although she missed the show she so desperately wanted to see, she at least got a TikTok with nearly 2 million views from the whole thing.
