PC gaming fans looking for an affordable but capable graphics card might be interested in this AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, which is currently available at 16% off at Amazon.

When it comes to graphics cards, most of the current focus is on the newly released Nvidia 40 Super series, refreshed versions of GPUs with updated capabilities. However, if you are after a bargain it might be a good idea to look over the aisle to Team Red and see what AMD is offering – such as this great deal on a Radeon RX 7900 XT, which slashes the price by 16%.

When it was first released, the RX 7900 XT was one of the fastest GPUs on the market, capable of posting performance figures comparable with the mighty Nvidia RTX 4080, but at a much more affordable price. The RX 7900 XT can therefore handle pretty much anything that modern AAA gaming can throw at it, even at 4K resolutions. Demanding titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake II will perform excellently with this GPU installed.

Impressive specs for a bargain price

The Radeon RX 7900 XT has a base clock of 2000MHz, and a boost clock of up to 2450 MHz along with a hefty 20GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a memory bus width of 320-bit. For those worried about power requirements or temperature ranges, be assured that the RX 7900 XT is more power efficient and runs cooler than its closest competitor from Nvidia.

To improve gaming performance, the RX 7900 XT supports AMD’s FSR 2 software. This is a set of AI-powered tools that can greatly improve framerate and improve other visuals with anti-aliasing and reduced lag. FSR3 is generally considered inferior to Nvidia’s DLSS 3, but it can still deliver some impressive performance.

Users will be able to take advantage of 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 DisplayPort 2.1 ports to connect to a broad range of display devices, too. This is a much-needed price cut to bring AMD in line with its team green competitors.
