Littler opened a fan's Ultimate Team pack

Luke Littler has been the talk of the darts world ever since he burst onto the scene at the World Championship last year.

Although Littler was beaten by Luke Humphries in the final at Ally Pally, his march to the final aged just 16 was undoubtedly the story of the tournament.

His form earned him a spot in the Premier League line-up but he is yet to record a nightly win, with Michael van Gerwen dominating early on in the campaign.

The Dutchman has emerged victorious on three of four nights so far, and beat Littler in the semi-finals on the way to victory in Newcastle.

Littler is darts’ biggest draw and he will have endeared himself to young followers of the sport further with what he did while walking onto the stage on Thursday night.

A video shared on X by the PDC showed a fan holding out a phone with an EA Sports FC Ultimate Team pack on the screen, clearly encouraging Littler to open it for him.

Littler, a keen gamer himself, happily obliged, although he didn’t stick around to see who the fan pulled from the pack.

X users were keen to learn which players had come out of the pack but the fan in question is yet to come forward with a big reveal.
