The Bachelor Season 28 contestants get into the “dumbest fight” in series history

Maria Georgas and Madina Alam of The Bachelor got into the “dumbest fight” in the show’s history. Here’s what happened.

Maria Georgas, 28, and Madina Alam, 31, of The Bachelor Season 28 may be close in age, but that one commonality wasn’t enough to secure a friendship between the two.

Only two episodes into the show, the two contestants got into not only the first fight of the season but also the “dumbest” one.

Though both women made it through the rose ceremony in Episode 2, their tension didn’t go unnoticed in the mansion.

Maria tried to empathize with Madina about her age

In Episode 2, Madina’s friend on the show, Sydney Gordon, overheard Maria say “Well I’m old too,” during a conversation about Madina being the oldest contestant this season.

Sydney later told Madina what was said, causing Madina to look at Maria differently. When Maria tried to take Madina aside, Madina shrugged off the invitation to break bread.

Maria then empathized with Madina’s feelings, “If Madina truly does feel insecure about her age, I feel for her.” However, her genuineness wasn’t taken as such, causing Madina and Sydney to team up against Maria.

In the preview for Episode 3, Sydney can be heard saying she wanted to expose who she felt Maria truly was, later sitting down with Joey Graziadei to seemingly discuss how Maria can’t be trusted.

Maria may be blindsided, though, as she was trying to not harp on the situation despite calling it the “dumbest fight” in The Bachelor’s history.

Though Maria, Madina, and Sydney all received roses from Joey during the episode’s rose ceremony, the age comment just may come back to haunt Maria.
