Below Deck Season 11 crew member reveals he has a child he’s never met

Jared Woodin from Below Deck Season 11 is not only a Bosun for the rest of the crew, but he is also a proud father.

One of the many newcomers in the eleventh season of Below Deck is Jared Woodin.

Even though he holds the Bosun position, he arguably acts as if he’s the most inexperienced crew member on board.

So much so, that viewers are convinced that he is only going to last a few more episodes before Captain Kerry Titheradge has enough and fires him.

Fans were quickly getting annoyed by his behavior, but a recent heartwarming might have just changed their minds about the reality TV star.

Below Deck’s Jared Woodin has a daughter

In Episode 3, the stars head off the boat for their first crew night out of the season.

While discussing another crew member’s tramp stamp, Jared popped into the discussion and surprisingly revealed that he has a daughter.

“I’ve never met her. Long story short, I was in a relationship with a girl. We were fighting more than we were laughing. She ended up getting pregnant. I didn’t know this and I wasn’t really committed to this girl. And so she had the baby and she ****ed off to Alaska,” he said in the episode.

Jared also revealed that despite living all the way in Florida, he regularly facetimes with his daughter to maintain a relationship and not be “a deadbeat dad”.

As far as how the rest of the cast reacted to his jaw-dropping reveal, both Fraser and Barbie seemed very sympathetic, with Barbie telling him “he’s so cute” for making an effort to spend time with his child.

Maybe in due time Jared will take to social media and share a photo of himself and his daughter meeting for the first time.
