The next Pokemon trading card game set is just around the corner and fans are hyped already, especially for the upcoming prerelease promo cards.

Are you excited for the next instalment in the Pokemon TCG? Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, Temporal Forces, will debut shortly and it’s already looking like it’ll be one of the most exciting releases of 2024.

As reported initially by PokeBeach, the prerelease promo cards for the set have just been released and they look incredible. Pokemon TCG players took to social media recently to share their favorites out of the bunch, and to point out their least favorites, too.

Four cards will be released as prerelease promos for the Temporal Forces set and they feature an interesting mix of Pokemon. The cards are dynamic, visually striking, and feature the Ancient and Future logos.

The featured Pokemon (Miraidon, Koraidon, Metang, and Feraligatr) are all popular ‘mons within their own right and fans were hyped to see these cards revealed.

One fan on X commented that they were “so glad Metang is a promo”. Someone else on the same post agreed that “3 out of 4 are dope promos” but didn’t specify which promo they were disappointed by.

A Pokemon TCG player on a forum post said that the Koraidon card was “insane” and that all four of the cards looked great. Someone else excitedly declared “MAAAAAAAAAN IT WORTH THE WAIT, TAKE MY MONEY FRIENDS, I WANT IT ALL.”

As a Pokemon fan, it’s great to see so much hype for a set before it’s even officially out yet, and it’ll be interesting to see how much of an impact Temporal Forces has on the tournament scene. Temporal Forces will feature a heap of incredible Pokemon and it could be a big set for collectors, too.

The cards in Temporal Forces will have origins in the Wild Force & Cyber Judge sets. If you’re unfamiliar, this was a Japanese dual set that came out in January, and if you’ve not seen them before, the cards are beautiful. The full Temporal Forces card list is currently available and it’s worth taking a look at.
