Pokemon Go players are frustrated with a Research Task that one player has claimed is the “worst Field Research ever.”

Field Research tasks have proved to be a key way for Pokemon Go players to earn various rewards and progress their Research Breakthrough.

These challenges typically have been short and fairly easy, such as “Take a Snapshot of a Wild Pokemon” or “Make 3 Curve Ball Throws.”

However, some have proved to be far more difficult or not offer sufficient rewards, which has often led to players blasting Niantic over the Research Tasks or just avoiding them completely.

Now, one player has revealed what they believe to be the worst Field Research task of all time, as players soon flooded in to agree and express their distaste with the newly added challenge.

Pokemon Go players blast Niantic over timely Field Research tasks

Pokemon Go player honeybeelvr simply posted: “Worst Field Research ever,” which was paired with a screenshot of their extensive Welcome Party task and its widely considered lackluster rewards.

“Knowing that 60 more Party Challenges come after this one is pushing me to the EDGE,” they further stated. With the Research Task requiring a sizeable 30 party Challenges to be completed, players across the community were equally keen to outline their frustrations.

A player responded: “Oh hell nah. This one can sit in the Challenge tab for eternity as a monument to their stupidity,” as another added: “I minimized it with no intention of doing it. Not worth the time and effort.”

These echoed the responses of many, as others broke down their situation in more detail: “These will be the death of me. Other than my husband, none of my Pokémon Go friends live close enough to me to join a party. And my husband doesn’t play that often. I don’t even want to think about how long it’ll take me to finish these tasks.”

Whether you agree or disagree, completing different Field Research tasks and obtaining more stamps to go towards your Research Breakthrough can give you some useful benefits. Even if you just avoid ones like this and focus on the easy ones.
