Palworld players call for one “important” detail to be added to game’s open-world

There’s already a ton of exciting things you can do in Palworld, but players think adding this “important” feature would spice up the game even more.

Palworld‘s early access launch was a hit, as it quickly dominated the Steam charts in terms of concurrent players within hours. Though some players may have associated it with “Pokemon with guns,” the game does offer much more than that.

Players are often challenged with battling hostile Pals, exploring dungeons, upgrading their base, and even setting up their defenses — all while they have their Pals to take care of.

Despite being in early access, devs are quick to respond to the game’s growing popularity by releasing a roadmap and updating the game with a recent patch. However, that doesn’t stop players from wanting one crucial feature to be added to the game.

In a Reddit thread, one player claimed the game lacks the weather feature. While the vast Palpagos Island already features different climates, the player said they would love a more in-depth weather system.

“I’m talking rain/thunderstorms, snow storms, sand storms, maybe even ash storms in the volcano region,” they mentioned.

They added, “I would love to relax in my base on a rainy day if possible.” Having said that, most players replying to the thread seem to support this idea.

“I think weather that has a noticeable effect on gameplay would be sick. Like water types spawning more and getting a damage boost in the rain,” one person commented.

“Have a stormy weather, and when lightning strikes, it can strike at your power generator or your house or your character/pal,” suggested another.

One user also thought it would be great to add difficulty sliders to the weather system, while another suggested adding different seasons to spice up the gameplay.

All in all, while this seems like a fun addition to the game, some players couldn’t help but think of how it would affect the game’s performance. With more features and improvements being planned in the future, this feature may likely be possible once the game gets more stable.
