Ariana Grande revealed her seventh studio album, her first set in nearly four years. Here is everything we know.

With six studio albums under her belt, including the acclaimed “thank u, next”, Ariana Grande has become a force in pop music. Throughout her career, she has made some of the best music among her contemporaries (see: songs like “Into You” and “One Last Time,” for example).

Surprisingly, it’s been nearly four years since Grande last released an album. Her previous set was 2020’s Positions, which spawned such hits as “34+35” and “POV.”

Grande is now gearing up for what will mark her seventh studio album, titled Eternal Sunshine. She initially teased her comeback in late 2023 and has been slowly trickling out details, from the album cover to the tracklist. Here is what we know.

When is the release date for Eternal Sunshine?

On January 17, Ariana Grande officially announced the album title, alongside the expected release date and several album cover photos. “eternal sunshine 3.8,” she simply captioned her Instagram post.

The album will drop everywhere on March 8, 2024.

Ariana Grande has been working on new music for a minute now. On December 27, 2023, the pop singer took to Instagram to share photos from the studio.

“See you next year,” she captioned a batch of pics and videos, including a candid clip of her snuggled up on a sofa from a long day of recording. “I’m so tired,” she said through giggles. “I’m so happy and so grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons. The idea of moving is impossible.”

What is the album’s lead single?

On January 7, Ariana Grande officially announced “Yes, And?” as the lead single, which dropped on January 12. The song seemingly tore down claims she was a “homewrecker” in her relationship with Ethan Slater.

With the lead single’s drop date, Grande also released the accompanying music video, which references Paula Abdul’s ‘Cold Hearted.’ The video was directed by Christian Breslauer, known for working with Lizzo and Doja Cat.
