Selena Gomez made her big return to music with ‘Love On,’ and fans have already declared the singer has single-handedly saved pop music in 2024.

It’s been a minute since Selena Gomez has released new music. In late summer 2023, the singer declared she’d be ‘Single Soon’ with a club banger, although she was very much not single at the time of its release.

Now that she’s fully in love, and unafraid to show it on social media, Gomez unleashes a new bop called ‘Love On.’ The jaunty tune is paired with a vibrant, jet-setting music video.

Gomez’s most diehard fans were like bees to honey on social media with their praise for the song, even going as far as to say that pop music had been saved by her hands alone.

Selena Gomez fans have crowned ‘Love On’ as the saving grace for all of pop music in 2024. With its trippy, syncopated lyrics, it certainly possesses an irresistibly groovy vibe. Fans were quick to pick up on that and took to Twitter/X to declare that pop music had long returned.

A fan declared that the “Queen of pop is finally back and pop music is saved.”

“Real music is back,” added another fan.

“Queen of what she knows best,” said a third.

“I’m loving every detail of the video and everything,” praised a fan. “It’s worth the wait, can’t wait for SG3.”

“Loved the music video, she was serving looks and a music is fun,” said another.

“I’m obsessed, one of her best songs already. And the video?!?!? One of her best already, what a production,” declared a third.

Could Selena Gomez’s third solo album be on the horizon? Fans hope so. It’s currently unclear if ‘Love On’ indicates a new album is coming or if it’s just a one-off single.
