YouTube streaming star CouRageJD has claimed the League of Legends community is the “worst” in gaming, calling players “insufferable.”

Like most games, League of Legends has trouble with toxic players. Whether it be a teammate purposely running it down mid or lashing out at others in a fit of rage, it’s almost an inescapable problem.

With that said, League of Legends is notoriously known for its longstanding toxicity. And, according to streaming star CouRageJD, it’s the absolute worst in gaming.

CouRage calls LoL community “worst” in gaming

In a Twitter/X post on February 13, the 100 Thieves co-owner lashed out at League of Legends players, calling them “insufferable” and claiming the community is the “worst” on the internet.

“It is TRULY unreal how insufferable every League of Legends player is in games,” he wrote.

CouRage continued: “I play Flex 5s 90% of my games with a full stack. But in the 10% of games I don’t, then I can almost GUARANTEE one of our random 2 will be a major issue. Worst community on the internet.”

In the replies to the post, many of his fans agreed, explaining their own experiences playing the popular MOBA. “100% lmao, and it’s been like that for years,” said one. “That’s why I stopped playing,” another replied.

Not only that, many explained the issue isn’t just with League of Legends, describing similar issues in the developer’s other titles such as Valorant. “It’s not just League, but the Riot Games fanbase. Valorant is horrible as well,” one explained.

On the other hand, while it’s fair to say the LoL community has its flaws, some claim the Call of Duty and Overwatch communities are much worse.

Regardless, it’s a clear problem that’s been prominent in League of Legends for years, although thankfully the Riot devs are endlessly trying to combat the issue with better systems aimed at punishing toxic players and preventing disruptive behavior.
