A supposed GTA 6 leak has resurfaced and got fans pretty excited as it claims the highly-anticipated game will bring back an old mini-game with a fresh twist.

Back in December, Rockstar Games finally started answering some big questions about Grand Theft Auto 6 when they released the first trailer for the long-awaited title.

The trailer confirmed some of the earlier leaks that we’ll explore the story of Lucia and Jason, not only in Vice City but in the wider state of Leonida, and it’ll be a much more modern setting than the last time we headed to the Miami-esque location.

Despite promising further updates, Rockstar and their publishers, Take-Two, have gone pretty silent again. That silence has prompted some fans to go back and look at some older leaks and there is one that has got fans quite excited.

GTA 6 rumored to have 3v3 basketball mode and fans are excited

The leak in question comes from the mysterious and now-deleted Reddit account Well_Look_Whos_Back, which has been on the money with a number of leaks in the past.

One of their claims, that GTA 6 will include a 3-versus-3 basketball mini-game, resurfaced in late February and quickly spread across social media.

Plenty of longtime Grand Theft Auto players pointed to how they loved the basketball mini-game in San Andreas – as you could shoot hoops in Sweet’s yard – and how GTA 5 had plenty of nods to an unfinished mini-game of its own.

“This boutta be better than any 2K ever made,” one fan tweeted, comparing it to the popular NBA 2K titles. “Let’s f*cking gooooo finally like bruh who tf wanted golf and tennis,” another added. “Hope they bring back bowling and other mini-games,” another commented.

A basketball mini-game has been referenced in other supposed leaks too, but given that Well_Look_Whos_Back also mentioned it lends a bit more credence to it being real. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what Rockstar cooks up when they finally start revealing details like that.
