Just one month after surviving the shooting at the Jacksonville Madden event, Ryen ‘Badrep’ Aleman has been confirmed dead following a car accident.

Badrep was at The Jacksonville Landing on Aug 26 when another player opened fire at the now infamous Madden tournament. He survived after hiding in the restroom alongside another player.

Unfortunately, two people were killed and numerous injured before the shooter turned the gun on himself on that fateful day.

The Jacksonville incident gained worldwide notoriety because it was held during an esports tournament.

Less than a month later, local Texas news site KIII 3 has reported that Badrep was involved in a car crash, which took his life.

The 25 year old lost control of his car at 4am on Sunday Sep 16, traveling westbound on Highway 44 just before the Violet road exit.

His car flipped several times before crashing into some railroad tracks. Due to not wearing a seatbelt, Badrep was thrown from the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are continuing to investigate.
