What are Boosters in Helldivers 2?

Boosters are equipable modifiers that function just as the name implies, by boosting you and sometimes even your squad with unique benefits.

In some cases, this might be with extra ammo, in others, perhaps you’d rather be more durable. Each player can equip just one booster, and while some apply to the full team, others are specific to an individual player.

How to get Boosters in Helldivers 2

Boosters can be acquired through the Warbond Battle Passes in Helldivers 2, which includes both the free Helldivers Mobilise track and the premium Steeled Veterans track.

Like everything else, these cost a set amount of Medals to unlock, but once acquired, they’re yours to keep forever. No one-time use items here, what you pay for in Helldivers 2 is yours permanently.

Currently, this is the only way to acquire Boosters in Helldivers 2, though that may change down the line as new content updates arrive. We’ll be sure to update you here should any new methods open up.

How to equip Boosters in Helldivers 2

The process of using Boosters in Helldivers 2 is quite simple, just follow these steps:

1. Enter Hellpod before entering a mission.
2. Select your drop zone in the briefing screen.
3. In the bottom right corner of your Stratagem loadout, tap on the final empty hexagon.
4. Select the Booster you want to use to equip it.
