Fortnite has now entered Week 7 of Season 8, meaning fans of the game have a brand-new set of weekly challenges that they can now complete, and these guides will help you earn all the Battle Stars.
The seventh week of Fortnite’s Season 8 kicked off with the v8.30 update on April 10, which saw the much-anticipated introduction of Respawn Vans, which will allow players to revive their fallen teammates much like in Apex Legends.
Having had a little time with the new update, Fortnite fans now have new weekly challenges to complete, which will reward players with Battle Stars which can be used to rank up their Season 8 Battle Pass.
As expected, Fortnite fans have seven challenges that they can complete in the game, with three challenges unlocked for anyone who owns the game, while the other four are only available for players who own the Season 8 Battle Pass.
Owners of the Battle Pass will also be able to continue completing Discovery challenges, with a brand-new loading screen unlocked when they finish all seven challenges. Fortnite fans can also take part in the new Buccaneer’s Bounty event, which also offers a number of free challenges with rewards for those who complete them.
Epic Games put the Fortnite Season 8 Week 7 challenges live on Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 AM PDT / 10:30 AM EDT / 3:30 PM BST, giving Fortnite players a host of new objectives they can attempt to complete while playing the popular battle royale title.
Fortnite fans will be visiting Pirate Camps once again during Week 7, while they’ll also have to visit a number of different named locations in the same match in one of this week’s staged challenges.
If you’re struggling to complete any of the Fortnite Season 8 Week 7 challenges, we have some useful guides that should help you secure those Battle Stars.
Use this full cheat sheet map as a visual guide for this week's challenges, revealing exactly where you need to visit on the Fortnite map to complete each of the objectives.
As always, Fortnite fans have a brand new Discovery challenge to complete once they finish all seven of the regular weekly challenges.
This week, players will need to be on the lookout for a hidden Battle Star, and can use the loading screen they unlock when they complete the weekly challenges to search for it. The hint for the Battle Star location is tricky, but you can use our handy guide to save a lot of searching.
Fortnite players will need to ditch their weapons for this challenge, as damage must be dealt with a pickaxe to earn the five Battle Stars reward.
The easiest way to complete this challenge is to either land right beside someone at the start of the match and hit them when they have no gun, or knock someone in a duos or squads match, and use the Pickaxe to eliminate them.
Fairly straightforward, players will need to visit a number of named locations in a single match to complete this challenge.
Thankfully, most of the locations are fairly close together, meaning you won’t have to traverse from one corner of the map to the other to finish this challenge.
The stages are:
Pirate Camps are back in the Fortnite weekly challenges, with three visits to different outposts required to complete this challenge.
The Pirate Camps are spread out across the map, so aiming for three which are relatively close together is the quickest way to complete this challenge. All three must be visited in a single match, so if you’re eliminated before you make it to the third and final Camp, you’ll have to start over in the next match.
Pain will be raining down on opponents, as you deal damage to players from above them. The easiest way to complete this challenge is to build above opponents when in gunfights, or sit on elevated positions like towers and hills and fire down at your enemies.
Another simple challenge, players will need to open seven chests at either of these locations to complete this one. While both areas have plenty of chests, it’s likely that both locations will be much busier than they were previously, so prepare for enemies to appear and try to take you down.
The second staged challenge of the week, Fortnite fans must deal damage to players while riding a Zipline to complete the first stage. Then, they will need to keep an eye out for opponents who are utilizing a Zipline themselves, and deal damage to them.
Fortnite fans will have to take out five enemy players in named locations. These are any places on the Fortnite map that have a name, so head towards spots like Tilted Towers or Pleasant Park to find opponents you can eliminate to earn 10 Battle Stars.
