Harley Quinn is now available in Fortnite as a skin and even has a set of challenges that can unlock an extra style, but beware of a bug that could steal your V-Bucks.
To coincide with the new film, Birds of Prey, Warner Bros and Epic Games have teamed up once again to bring an exclusive skin into Fortnite.
On February 6, Harley Quinn hit the item shop and came with a set of challenges for players to unlock her alternate style. Essentially, it could end up being two skins for the price of one.
However, several players are reporting bugs with these challenges. Upon completing them and unlocking the style, they discovered they could actually purchase the challenge bundle again from the store.
For the price of 400 V-Bucks, they'd presumably get the same set of challenges to complete which could be used to earn experience for their profile, perhaps as a way to get some extra XP before the season wraps up.
However, nothing actually happens when they purchase the bundle, but instead, the V-Bucks are lost to the void.
While 400 V-Bucks isn't too much in the grand scheme of things, it's disappointing to see them go to waste. Players immediately went to Reddit and explained the bug in an effort to warn others from making the same mistake.
Redditor CyberYeet-YT pointed out that the bundle will glitch upon completion and re-enter the shop for purchase again. Purchasing this bundle will take the currency but not reward you with another set of challenges.
What are the Harley Quinn challenges?
The Harley Quinn skin will be in the item shop until February 17, so players have plenty of time to decide if it's worth picking up. Upon purchase, you'll discover the Always Fantabulous Harley skin style will be locked behind challenges.
To unlock it, players will be required to complete these objectives:
- Place top 30, 20 and 10 in Solos, Duos or Squads (1)
- Hit weak points (100)
- Deal damage with pickaxes to opponents (100)
Once this is done, both styles will be yours. Just make sure you don't purchase the bundle again in the shop!
