After a fan-created petition went viral in a bid to bring back a beloved menu item, McDonald’s have finally given in and decided to bring back the Breakfast Wrap.

Fans of McDonald’s will recall when the chain decided to remove their beloved snack wraps from menus. After 10 long years, 2016 saw the lunchtime snack’s early demise.

However, in December, the chain announced that the item would be making its return to menus.

Fans of McDonald’s will be pleased to know that another beloved food item is being welcomed back – the ever-popular Breakfast Wrap. However, it will only be available in the UK.

McDonald’s Breakfast Wrap brought back after mass outcry

The Breakfast Wrap was axed from menus in 2020, and this led fans to create a series of petitions in a bid to see it brought back.

Over 83 petitions were made, and McDonald’s revealed that they’d also received “over 5000 direct messages” from fans urging for the wrap to return.

Now, fans’ wishes have come true because not only is it making a comeback, but it’s also had a tweak.

The new Breakfast Wrap will come with two free-range round eggs stuffed inside, which were previously folded.

The brand new Breakfast wrap will be available from February 7, 2024 onwards.

Another popular fast food item is going viral, after Krispy Kreme announced that they’d once again be teaming up with Lotus Biscoff.
