SleightlyMusical and AvocadoPeeled under fire for LilyPichu apologies

OfflineTV members Albert ‘SleightlyMusical’ Chang and Sarah ‘AvocadoPeeled’ Lee have come under fire because of their apologies to Chang’s former girlfriend, Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki, after being caught out having an affair.

Rumors started to unfurl in mid-November that the two had been having an affair, with several other members of the OfflineTV streamer group subtweeting on November 10, 2019.

On the same day, LilyPichu put out a TwitLonger explaining that she is no longer with Chang, apologizing for her friends’ tweets and saying that she still loves and cares about both her friends and her ex-boyfriend very much, with no mention of his infidelity.

It wasn’t until a couple of days later that Chang confirmed he had been unfaithful in a TwitLonger posted on November 12, apologizing for his behavior. This was followed by a post from Lee, confirming she was the other half of the affair.

While an apology from both parties seems fair, it didn’t take long for fans to pick up on something peculiar with their apologies – in that they looked almost identical.

SleightlyMusical’s apology:

“I made the worst decision of my life. I chose to be unfaithful to Lily, and caused her an excruciating amount of pain. I’m incredibly sorry for my selfish and irredeemable behavior. I betrayed her trust and love for me, and for that, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to atone for it. I’ll be taking an indefinite hiatus from content creation to reflect and spend some time alone.

I’m sorry for the people I’ve hurt in all of our communities, I’m sorry for the friends I let down at Offline.TV, and most of all I’m sorry for hurting you, Lily.”

AvocadoPeeled’s apology:

“No one deserves the level of pain I caused, especially not Lily: someone who has only shown me kindness. My choices were immensely selfish, and the levels of betrayal go beyond repair. She does not deserve to suffer like this. Nothing I write could ever be enough, nothing I say could possibly change anything. It will never be enough. There is only reparation in who I choose to be from here on out. I will be taking time away from the public for self-reflection.

I’m sorry for the extreme hurt I’ve caused to everyone in the communities, to those who I could once call ‘friend’, and to Lily most of all. I’m so sorry.”

Although the wording is mostly different, the format and patterns of what they say is incredibly similar, with many fans even conspiring that the two came up with their apologies together.

Starting by directly addressing Lily and how much pain they caused her, both apologies then mention how they betrayed her and that they will be able to “atone” or “repair” the damage caused. Both then mention that they will be taking time away to reflect on what has occurred. The pair use similar words throughout their apologies, with both addressing the “hurt” they’ve caused to people in their “communities.”

In particular, the final paragraphs of each apology are almost word-for-word identical, which definitely brings into dispute the sincerity of the apologies. It’s unlikely anybody involved will choose to address these particular allegations, especially considering the nature of the situation they’re involved in, but it’s unlikely to die down for a while.

Neither Chang, Lee or Ki have spoken publicly since making their statements on the incident, but it’s likely they will come back soon enough with clearer minds and maybe shed some light on the situation if they feel that it’s necessary.

Addison Rae & Bryce Hall spark engagement rumors after cryptic ring post

TikTok’s hottest couple, Addison Rae and Bryce Hall, have sparked rumors that they might be getting engaged after Addison flexed a flashy ring on Instagram.

Bryce and Addison — affectionately referred to as ‘Braddison’ by shippers — are two of TikTok’s most popular content creators, who were long rumored to be secretly dating despite their repeated denial to the contrary.

However, on November 30, the two finally confirmed that they are officially dating, and have been together for nearly two months (although they did break up earlier this year after just three days together).

Since their surprise announcement, they haven’t held back with their lovey-dovey social media posts about each other, complete with cuddly, PDA-filled TikToks. And of course, while both creators are still so young, fans of the couple are eager for more content – especially if they decide to tie the knot in the future.

On Thursday, January 14, Addison was spotted by paparazzi leaving XIV Karats LTD jewelry store in Beverly Hills – and  later on, posted a picture of a new sparkly ring on her ring finger to her Instagram story, leaving fans in a frenzy over what it might mean.

Typically, an engagement ring is worn on the ring finger of the left hand, and with the way the picture was taken, it does look like it’s on her left hand.

However, while it has prompted speculation that the pair are or could potentially be getting engaged, discussion on drama Instagram account TikTokroom heavily suggests that the pair are getting each other promise rings, instead.

This is something that several famous TikTok couples have done to show their commitment to each other, including Cynthia Parker and Quinton Griggs, as well as Alex Warren and Kouvr Annon, so it wouldn’t be so surprising if this is the case.

Either way, Bryce and Addison are clearly about as lovey-dovey as they could possibly be at this point, and engagement ring or not, the pair look like they’re in it for the long-haul.
