After viewing a viral clip of ‘AirsoftFatty’ on Twitch, Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo spoke out in support of the embattled streamer who is allegedly being taken advantage of by his ‘friends’ asking for his streaming revenue.

YouTuber AirsoftFatty has been going viral over the last week, but it’s not because of the content creator himself. While he’s got a decent fanbase of 400,000 subscribers on YouTube, he’s been kicking off more Twitch streams.

However, clips of the YouTuber with his friends have been circulating Reddit’s ‘livestreamfail’ community for all the wrong reasons.

There have been allegations of abuse against Airsoft, apparently done by his manager and closest friends, who are allegedly trying to capitalize on his rise to fame on both Twitch and YouTube, and the cash windfall that likely came with it.

After catching wind of the clips, Mizkif investigated them, before making some damning remarks against Airsoft’s group of friends. He drew comparisons to his own experiences growing up, where his uncle would often be bullied and taken advantage of because he didn’t know any better.

“My uncle Jim got bullied all the time, he got taken advantage of constantly,” he said. “This kind of reminds me of my uncle Jim where his friends used to take advantage of him like crazy and manipulate him and he’d do things because he didn’t know any better.

“My dad would either have to get into fights with people or stop them, and it was almost the exact same situation as AirsoftPhatty. I feel like this kind of almost hits me at home — this shit that’s happening.”

After watching more clips of Airsoft allegedly being forced to keep his stream up by his manager, as well as bullied for parts of his stream revenue, Mizkif was fed up with the abuse.

“What a scumbag piece of sh*t. What actual pieces of sh*t. It bothers me so much.

“These two guys are taking advantage of Airsoftphatty, and they are bullying him, and they are picking on him, and they are making him just feel like shit. It’s the exact situation my uncle had to go through all the time.

“These two guys think they’re better than Airsoftphatty, they’re smarter than Airsoftphatty, they’re gods compared to him. They think of him as scum on the foot and that he’s this retard they can take advantage of, and that’s what they’re trying to do. They are using him to make money.”

While it’s difficult for Twitch to step into private matters between Airsoft and his managers — especially if they are not reported directly to the admins — the platform doesn’t condone bullying or targeted harassment in any form.

“We prohibit using Twitch to facilitate hateful conduct or harassment, whether the targets are on or off Twitch,” the company’s Community Guidelines state.
