Mizkif calls CEO Dan Clancy the best thing to happen to Twitch in years

Mizkif has praised Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, stating he is what the streaming platform “needed”.

Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo is an American Twitch streamer with over 2 million followers on the platform.

As one of Twitch’s most well-known personalities, it’s no surprise his opinions hold some weight with fans.

Most recently, Mizkif attended TwitchCon 2023 in Las Vegas. It appears the experience bore well, the streamer taking to Twitter to share his thoughts on the platform’s CEO, Dan Clancy — and he had only good things to say.

“Dan Clancy is the best thing to happen to Twitch in years,” Mizkif wrote. “He’s what we needed and I’m so happy he’s the CEO.”

Many users agreed, jumping on to Twitter to offer their own praise for Clancy, who took over as Twitch CEO earlier this year in March.

“Chill guy, cares about Twitch, pretty upfront and honest about shortcomings and problems and how they try to tackle them, and actually takes part in the Twitch experience,” one person wrote. “As far as big CEOs go, he is one of the most unique and humble I’ve seen.”

“I’ve never seen this much positivity in years,” another user said. Fellow Twitch streamer ‘FaZe Kalei‘ also responded to Mizkif’s tweet, writing, “Seeing him insanely involved with the community is a fresh of breath air.”

Clancy himself even responded to Mizkif, demonstrating his involvement in the Twitch community; “Thanks Miz. Had a great time at TwitchCon and thanks for all you did there.”

However, it seems not all have agreed with Mizkif, the streamer hitting back at Twitter users giving him backlash for his post; “Oh yeah I forgot this is Twitter where you can’t f compliment something.”
