YouTube star IShowSpeed is furious after Messi won the Best FIFA Men’s Player of 2023 while Ronaldo wasn’t even nominated for the award.

Anybody who is familiar with IShowSpeed will be well aware of his obsession with Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 18-year-old attempted to meet CR7 on numerous occasions. Finally after years of trying he got the chance to meet and grab a photo with the footballer in 2023.

After meeting Ronaldo, Speed has not slowed down with the fixation on his idol, constantly showing support a ton and appreciation for the footballer.

Nevertheless, in his recent January 15 stream, the YouTube star lost his cool after it was announced that Messi took home the award for the best men’s player of 2023.

As Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t even nominated for the award, the Argentine forward Lionel Messi beat out the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Erling Halaand, and Kevin De Bruyne.

However, IShowSpeed clearly wasn’t impressed. “Bro, are you f**king serious? Are you f**king serious? Lionel Messi crowned best men’s player of 2023 at FIFA The Best Awards after beating Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to the top prize,” he said.

“Lionel Messi has been crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Player for 2023. What the f**k! What the f**k? How?” the YouTuber repeated.

Speed added: “Haaland had 255 goals last year. Mbappe had 152 goals last year. Ronaldo had 310 goals last year. Messi had 43 goals last year. How? The f**k. Rigged.”

It’s worth noting that the YouTuber’s numbers are way off. But still, it’s surprising to see that CR7 wasn’t even nominated despite being the top goal-scorer of the 2023 calendar year after joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Nasr.
