Amouranth explains why she doesn't recommend girls start an OnlyFans account

Following her success with the subscription service, Amouranth has revealed she would “never recommend” OnlyFans as a viable income option for women.

Kick and Twitch superstar Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has millions of fans invested in seeing what content she’ll drop next, proving herself to be one of the most successful businesswomen on the internet.

On top of the content streamed to fans through popular platforms, Amouranth has also found massive success via her OnlyFans account. Recently, the influencer revealed she earned nearly $1 million per month from September to December of 2023 as one of the top 0.01% of earners on the site.

However, now Amouranth has revealed she doesn’t recommend OnlyFans as an income option for most girls, warning them to stay away from the adult subscription service.

Streaming on Kick, Amouranth listened as another streamer discussed her success on OnlyFans while playing Spiderman; “Honestly man, f****** congratulations to Amouranth — you have tricked all these sad men, all these guys who don’t realize what free porn is into making you a very, very, very rich woman.”

To this, Amouranth paused the clip to say, “Bro, you don’t even know — you don’t even know the trick part. He doesn’t even know, I mean there’s multiple of them, he doesn’t even know.”

Continuing the video, the man then said, “I also want to point out, you know, we talk about sh** like this — this is like the extreme high example, right? She is according to this in the top 0.01% of everyone on the website. The problem is 99% of these girls on OnlyFans have seen Amouranth do this — make all this money — and they think they’re going to make the same money.

“They think this is the same f****** cheat code activated for them,” he continued. “And they go sign up to do this, they’re on there showing their butts off now. Next thing you know, their mom, their dad, everyone knows. They’re getting fired from their jobs over it.”

Amouranth didn’t disagree, stating, “That’s what I’m saying like I would never recommend girls to start an OnlyFans. Like do not, it’s not good for you, it only works if you’re already an established creator.”

Viewers called her responsible “wise” and “responsible”, with one Redditor writing, “At this point [OnlyFans] is so oversaturated.

“The median earnings for a creator are [approximately] $200 a month. And that’s median so there are literally millions of creators making substantially less than that,” they argued.
